Anastasia is one of the newest members of the regional training team at Accomplish and was shortlisted for her ‘hugely significant and positive contribution’ and for always ‘going above and beyond for the team and the services she supports’.
Her role is very important one as she leads the training o f colleagues on how to positively support people in the most positive and least restrictive way possible.
Jude Collins, HR Director at Accomplish Group, said: “We’re delighted that Anastasia’s hard work has been recognised in this way. This is a much deserved award which recognises that Anastasia always approaches her work with dedication and enthusiasm, making sure her colleagues have the skills and knowledge to provide the very best possible support.
“In the relatively short time Anastasia has been with us, she has proved to be an extremely valuable member of the te
am and has contributed significantly to the work the learning and development team have completed throughout the challenges brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic.”
Colleague Lauren was shortlisted for the Care Home Worker Award for her ‘energy, passion and positivity’ and for being “a care worker who is truly passionate about her role.”
Jude added: “This is also a well deserved award and we’re thrilled for Lauren. The way she approaches her work, and the positive way that impacts on everyone around her, should be a marker for everyone working in health and social care.
“Lauren does not just come to work to do a job, she goes above and beyond to ensure that she is helping people achieve the best out of their lives.”
As winners at the Welsh event, both Lauren and Anastasia are now finalists in the national Great British Care Awards which will be held on March 18th in Birmingham.
