Cornwall Supported Living – Thomas Buys His Own House
Home ownership is a dream for many people, and for Thomas it had been a...
On Thursday 20th June Accomplishments Choir will be returning to once again perform in front of the very best from the Learning Disabilities and Autism care sector in Wales. Care Professionals will be in attendance for an evening of celebration at the Marriott Hotel in Cardiff. The Learning Disabilities and Autism Awards celebrate excellence in providing quality care and support for people with Learning Disabilities and Autism across Wales.
Our open-to-all Accomplishments Choir, was set up 18 months ago by the Learning and Development staff team in Swansea. Each having a passion for music they wanted to offer staff and people they support an opportunity to be part of something new and to be able to express themselves creatively. This inspirational singing group is made up of a diverse group of individuals, from care staff to people supported who have Mental Health needs, Autism, Learning Disabilities and Acquired Brain Injuries. The Choir is led by a vision that everyone should be equally valued, celebrated and challenged. Accomplishments is very much led by its members and it’s a place where lifelong friendships are formed. The Choir has proven to be not only a huge success but more importantly provides people supported and staff who attend with joy and laughter.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank our amazing Choir and to congratulate them for all their hard work, they are truly inspirational.
