Elstow 2
Elstow 2 is a male service providing locked treatment and rehabilitation for younger autistic men aged 18-25.
At Lakeside, a key goal is to understand each person, any barriers they may face to independence and then build a support plan that meets these identified needs.
The Therapeutic and Clinical Teams focus on a holistic approach when working with patients, and use the Spectrum Star (an outcome measurement tool for people with Autism) and integrated treatment plans to ensure admission objectives are being achieved.
The types of outcomes we encourage young patients to achieve are:
- Employment and education
- Independent living
- Community inclusion
- Health
