Elstow 5
Elstow 5 is a locked rehabilitation and treatment service for lower risk adult autistic males.
This unit provides a service for adult Autistic men that are nearing stepdown.
This unit provides a service for male patients that are exhibiting less challenging behaviours, but may need longer term rehabilitation.
Here at Lakeside a key goal is to understand each person, their needs and then build a support plan that meets these.
With a strong rehabilitiative focus on Occupational Therapy, the Lakeside Therapeutic and Clinical Teams use a holistic approach when working with patients and use the Spectrum Star (an outcome measurement tool for people with Autism) and integrated treatment plans to ensure admission objectives are being achieved.
