Our Support

At Glan Y Felin we can support up to 7 people, providing support specifically for people who have an Acquired Brain Injury or that have Mental Health needs. We aim to enable the people we support to enjoy living a fulfilled life, based around their personal needs and wishes. Whatever their situation and however complex their needs, we provide opportunities for people to achieve optimum independence.

Our Approach

Glan Y Felin provides specialist brain injury support led by a staff team fully trained in person-centred approaches. This means every individual has a bespoke programme of support and unique support pathway, including varied vocational, recreational, therapeutic and leisure activities. Through person-centred plans, we promote life skills, enabling the people we support to live more independently and fulfil their goals and ambitions.

Accommodation

Glan Y Felin consists of en-suit rooms and studio apartments over three floors. Located on the ground floor is a large communal kitchen that leads into the lounge area where there is a pool table and a television. Outside, there is off road parking, a garden to the rear of the service and an enclose space with a patio.

Located in the semi-rural village of Pontardawe, Glan Y Felin is near to the town centre. There are excellent road links and public transport facilities for people looking to gain access to the local community.
