Lakeside in Bedfordshire provides care and treatment for people with mental health needs, learning disabilities and autism in our individual, small and specialist therapeutic complex care environments including innovative dialectical behaviour therapy, diagnostic, assessment and rehabilitation services.
We have a comprehensive multi-disciplinary team comprising Psychiatry, Psychology, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language Therapy and a dedicated team of Recovery Workers. We are a locked rehabilitation service which provides support for those progressing onwards from secure services or requiring a step up into enhanced care. We have a clear aim to support people to return to their home areas, and to residential or supported living services, as quickly as possible.
Our specialist Dialectical Behavioural Service supports women to gain the skills they need to live successfully in the community.
