The National Learning Disabilities and Autism Awards 2022 Finalists Announced
We are proud to announce we have three finalists at the National Learning Disabilities and Autism...
We are proud to announce that Elstow 3, our therapeutic inpatient service for males at Lakeside has been awarded the Royal College of Psychiatrists AIMS accreditation. Out of a total of 344 inpatients services, we are one of only 35 that have received this accreditation.
AIMS Rehab: a Quality Network for Mental Health Rehabilitation Services, is a quality improvement initiative managed by the Royal College of Psychiatrist’s Centre for Quality Improvement (CCQI). The network was developed in 2009 to improve standards of care in inpatient mental health rehabilitation services. The backbone of the network is quality improvement through peer-review and accreditation but member services are also able to benefit from specialist events, publications, and the knowledge and experience of peers.
As accredited members, we are identified as performing well against the standards. This is a more rigorous process involving the collection of evidence at the self and peer-review stages. Services assessed as meeting the required number of standards can be accredited for up to three years.
This is a fantastic achievement and demonstrates the outstanding quality of care provided at Lakeside.
Here at accomplish we are passionate about quality and we specialise in supporting people to reach their full potential, we have the highest quality ratings of any group in our sector the UK. As well as this AIMS accreditation Lakeside have also achieved 100% CQUINS and the highest quality rating (QQQ) from the All Wales Framework.
