At Woburn Sands Lodge we are committed to supporting people to lead as fulfilled lives as possible. We place value on individual beliefs, choices and aspirations, promoting maximised independence through activities by being brave and having fun. We encourage and support independence for activities such as self-care, money management and health appointments. We support and promote community integration through building relations with friends, family, neighbours and the local community.
Our service empowers the people we support to build on their strengths and skills, which enables them to develop a sense of self and an I can-do-attitude. The people we support are fully involved in decision making and the development of their own plan of care. We provide people with the right support and assist them in developing coping techniques, which makes a noticeable difference to their everyday lives. We encourage people to look beyond the now, so we support them to live up to their future aspirations.
